Star Central is a vibrant and thriving Multi‑Academy Trust based across the West Midlands area. The role is based across the Trust, requiring travel to designated academies or other suitable locations. The team includes experts from diverse professional backgrounds working to support the community and provide outstanding support services.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to provide financial leadership and management support across designated schools in the West Midlands, supplementing the Trust’s Central Finance Team. The post holder will lead the financial operations, processes, reporting and planning in their designated areas.

  • Have a sound understanding of budgeting and financial management processes, preferably in an educational establishment.
  • Have a sound understanding of purchase‑to‑pay processes and procurement policies, and be able to provide value for money, efficiency and control.
  • Have experience of system and process development within a finance team.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience of developing constructive relationships with non‑financial stakeholders.
