Work with pupils within the school’s Internal Adaptive Foundation Provision, teaching across a range of subjects at Key Stages 2 ability level to pupils in Key Stage 3 and 4.

Plan, design and produce teaching materials and resources which are appropriate to stage and ability. Adapt learning to meet pupils’ SEMH or SEND needs, maintaining high aspirations for progress and attainment.

Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of the pupils assigned. Supervise learning activities taking place outside of the classroom environment including work experience, outward bound and practical learning activities.

Deliver academic and needs based interventions, pastoral support, coaching and mentoring for pupils. Provide support to pupils who are returning to mainstream learning, including liaising with their teachers and support staff and supporting in mainstream lessons during their transition period.

You will have:

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status
  • The ability to teach to Key Stage 2
  • Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement
  • Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
