About Starbank: Starbank school in Birmingham is a large all-through school for pupils aged 3 to 16 years old. We have over 2,000 pupils and are based across three sites in close proximity to each other. We joined Star Academies in 2020 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism.

Who we’re looking for: We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated Graduate to join our forward-thinking strategic team as a Graduate School Business Manager. As a key member of our senior team, you’ll start your career as our Graduate School Business Manager, experiencing immersive learning on a pathway to becoming our substantive School Business Manager. Upon your successful completion of this programme, you will gain your qualification with one of our accredited partners and be set to take a strategic lead on the wide range of commercial and Human Resources aspects of running a school.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree qualification or equivalent.
  • The ability to communicate verbally with, and write reports for, a range of stakeholders, including Governors and external agencies.
  • The ability to manage people effectively by conducting regular meetings, setting targets for performance, delegating tasks appropriately, and monitoring the quality of delivery and outcomes.
