We are looking for 5x experienced and customer-focused Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineers to join our expanding team operating across North and West London and also the South East Areas including Reading, Oxford etc.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, and first-time fixes. Working within a well-established and supportive business, you will be responsible for servicing, fault-finding, and repairing domestic gas heating systems and appliances across a varied housing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out annual gas safety inspections and boiler servicing.
- Diagnose and repair faults on domestic gas boilers and central heating systems.
- Attend breakdown appointments and provide effective, customer-focused solutions.
- Complete all job documentation and electronic reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with Gas Safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
- Deliver a professional and courteous service to customers at all times.
- Maintain van stock levels, tools, and equipment.
- Participate in the Out-of-Hours call-out rota (retainer and attendance payments applicable).
You will be a motivated and reliable engineer with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Essential Requirements- Current ACS qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1.
- Valid Gas Safe Registration.
- Proven experience in domestic gas servicing, repairs and breakdown diagnosis.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Experience working with a wide range of boiler manufacturers.
- Unvented Hot Water qualification.
- Previous experience working within social housing or domestic maintenance contracts.
- Company van and fuel card.
