What you'll be doing:
- The Warehouse Fulfillment Center Supervisor will partner with other Fulfillment Center leadership to achieve three goals: to delight customers with outstanding service that exceeds expectations, to reduce costs by creating efficient processes, and to improve associate experiences.
- You will motivate and manage hourly associates to meet performance, productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
- You will lead planning for your departments, recommend process improvements, participate in hiring, training, coaching, and evaluate performance using operational reports.
- Collaboration with the Team Manager and other management is essential to operate within guidelines and ensure success.
- Safety is our priority; you will ensure safe work practices and foster our safety culture.
- Your leadership is vital to the success of Staples Supply Chain in delivering excellent service.
What you bring to the table:
- Ability to calculate, plan, and adjust headcount to meet objectives.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate at all levels.
- Understanding of Fulfillment/Distribution technology (e.g., WMS, hardware, software).
- Ability to quickly adopt safety procedures and ensure safe work practices.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Comfort working in a warehouse with seasonal temperature variations.

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen legally permissible.
- Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry up to 70 pounds.
