What you\’ll be doing:
The Warehouse Fulfillment Center Supervisor will partner with other Fulfillment Center leadership to achieve three goals: to delight customers with outstanding service that exceeds expectations, to reduce costs by creating efficient processes, and to improve associate experiences.
You will motivate and manage hourly associates to meet performance, productivity, accuracy, and quality standards. You will lead planning for your departments, recommend process improvements, participate in hiring, training, coaching, and evaluate performance using operational reports. Collaboration with the Team Manager and other management is essential to operate within guidelines and ensure success.

Your leadership is vital to the success of Staples Supply Chain in delivering excellent service.
What you bring to the table:
- Ability to calculate, plan, and adjust headcount to meet objectives.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate at all levels.
- Understanding of Fulfillment/Distribution technology (e.g., WMS, hardware, software).
- Ability to quickly adopt safety procedures and ensure safe work practices.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- An inclusive approach that seeks common ground and advocates for customers and employees.
- Leadership by example and a growth mindset.
- Comfort working in a warehouse with seasonal temperature variations.
- Ability to open and close the building; may be a key holder.
- Basic English skills (verbal and written).
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen legally permissible.
- Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry up to 70 pounds.
