MOT Tester - Staples Corner
We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester, Vehicle Technician or MOT Technician to join a busy dealership workshop in Staples Corner, North London. Applicants must have previous MOT testing experience, hold a valid MOT testing status, possess a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.
Job Details:
- Location: Staples Corner, North London
- Salary: £35,000 basic
- OTE: £40,000+
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Saturday 8:30am-5:00pm, with the option to work Saturdays permanently and take Mondays off

MOT Tester Role
- Carry out MOT tests accurately and efficiently
- Complete vehicle servicing and repairs to a high standard
- Identify defects and additional work required during inspections
- Communicate MOT results and repair requirements to Service Reception and Workshop Control
- Complete all required quality inspections, administration and MOT records accurately
- Maintain high workshop housekeeping and safety standards
- Deliver consistent quality while working at a productive pace
MOT Tester Requirements
- Previous experience working as an MOT Tester - essential
- Valid MOT testing status - essential
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - essential
- Previous workshop experience within the automotive or motor trade
- Ability to complete MOT tests efficiently without compromising quality
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Full UK Driving Licence - essential
- Right to work in the UK
