Well established transport company specialising in the overnight national distribution of temperature controlled fresh produce to wholesale fruit and vegetable markets Sun-Thurs + Alt Fri or Mon-Fri + Alt Sat (5+1 based shifts).
Nights out; Average 1-3 trips away from base each week. Nights away can be unpredictable due to daily volumes etc, this position would therefore not suit applicants who are looking to be away from base all week.
DAY DRIVERS: Daily RDC, Farm and Produce storage facility deliveries Mon - Friday + alternate Sundays / Mon – Friday + alternate Saturdays (5+1).
We are looking for professional drivers with a good level of English both spoken and written.
- Requirements (Min):
- Class 1 licence (C+E)
- Large Goods vehicle (articulated lorry)
- Exemplary accident record
- Flexible / Adaptable
- Sound understanding of current tachograph / WTD legislation
Person specification:
- Must have valid digital tachograph card
- Highly maintained modern fleet of vehicles
- Very competitive, recently enhanced weekly paid wages.
- A monthly bonus scheme with an opportunity to earn an excellent income.
- Dedicated truck per driver on nightwork.
