Well established transport company specialising in the overnight national distribution of fresh produce to wholesale fruit and vegetable markets looking to recruit additional administrative support for our busy operation.
Shift pattern: Monday – Friday + Alternate Sundays
Hours: Mon – Fri 09:00 – 16:00, Finish Sunday 11:00 - finish (19:00 – 22:30hrs)
Holiday cover: Some cover required during holiday periods (Later finish approx 22:00hrs)
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Marden, Kent
Reporting to the Admin supervisor your duties will include (but not limited to):
- Data / Order entry
- Manifest creation/printing
- Updating orders for various system allocations
- Printing delivery notes
- Checking customer paperwork against orders in system & updating system where required
- Ensuring drivers have relevant paperwork
- Liaison with warehouse operatives regarding order changes/amendments and updating system
- Dealing with telephone enquiries
- Collating, checking & issuing delivery notes
You will need:
- To be flexible with regard to finish times due to the nature of the business
- Ideally to be conversant with order entry
- To have good attention to detail
- To be able to work as part of a team in a busy fast-paced environment
- To be an effective communicator
