What you will be doing:

  • Building strong relationships with customers and becoming their go to contact.
  • Winning new business and spotting where the next growth opportunities lie.
  • Leading commercial negotiations and pricing discussions.
  • Working closely with NPD, operations, procurement, and technical teams.
  • Managing forecasts, tracking risks and opportunities, and keeping stakeholders informed.

Preferred experience:

  • Strong commercial background within the food industry, ideally across manufacturing and ingredients.
  • Confident with numbers, able to understand and challenge a P&L.
  • Proven ability to structure deals that deliver for both the customer and the business.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Track record of problem solving to overcome challenges and get deals over the line.
