A leading FMCG business is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a high‐profile Advanced Planning Systems (APS) transformation within a complex, enterprise‐scale organisation. This is a flagship programme with real visibility, senior stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to shape how planning operates across the business.

The role involves taking full ownership of the end‐to‐end delivery of an APS programme, covering systems implementation, process change and business adoption. Working at the centre of the transformation, you'll coordinate internal teams, senior leaders and third‐party vendors to ensure successful, on‐time and on‐budget delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the full lifecycle delivery of a large‐scale APS implementation (e.g. Relex / Optimity or similar)
  • Driving programme governance, planning, risk management and reporting
  • Managing senior business and IT stakeholders across multiple functions and sites
  • Leading third‐party delivery partners and ensuring contractual outcomes are met
  • Ensuring effective change management and adoption across the organisation

About you:

  • Proven experience delivering complex, enterprise‐wide systems or transformation programmes
  • Strong background in supply chain, planning, manufacturing or FMCG environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence operating at senior leadership level
  • Experienced in vendor and third‐party delivery management
  • Structured, outcomes‐focused approach with a track record of delivering tangible business value
  • Lead a strategically critical transformation programme with real organisational impact
  • High‐visibility role, working closely with senior leadership
