One of our fast-growing clients is looking for a Payroll Transformation Lead to drive a global consolidation of their payroll systems and processes into a new Shared Service Centre.

Fixed‑term contract: 18–24 months

Salary: £120k - £140k DOE

Location: 2-3 days a week in a London office

Start: Immediate requirement

One of our clients is embarking on a major in‑house payroll transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Payroll Transformation Lead to drive the next phase of delivery. The business operates multiple payrolls across the world and has recently established a global Shared Service Centre (SSC) in the UK. The programme is already in good shape, with the design work completed and a global payroll partner selected. They are now looking for a senior transformation specialist to lead the transition of all regional payrolls into the SSC and ensure a smooth, controlled migration.

This is a critical leadership role within a complex, multinational environment, requiring deep payroll expertise, strong programme oversight, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders across multiple geographies.

Key Requirements
  • Extensive experience leading large‑scale, global payroll transformation programmes
  • Proven track record of transitioning decentralised payrolls into a centralised SSC model
  • Strong understanding of global payroll operations, compliance, controls, and vendor management
  • Experience working with (and migrating to) major global payroll providers
  • Ability to lead complex change across multiple countries and business units
