An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a dynamic, fast-paced organisation. This role offers broad exposure across a multi-entity environment and the opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting while supporting ongoing business growth.
The Role
- You will take ownership of key areas of financial reporting and statutory compliance across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Working closely with Finance and wider business stakeholders, you’ll help drive improvements in processes, controls, and reporting quality, while supporting core month-end and year-end activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, fixed assets, and FX.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation.
- Provide variance analysis and commentary across P&L and balance sheet.
- Support monthly and quarterly close cycles to meet reporting deadlines.
- Prepare statutory accounts and supporting audit schedules.
- Manage external audit processes and liaise with auditors.
- Ensure regulatory filings are accurate and submitted on time.
- Take ownership of assigned legal entities and their reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
- Support finance systems improvements and testing.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong financial reporting experience within a multi-entity environment.
- Good knowledge of FRS102 and/or IFRS.
- Experience supporting audits and statutory reporting processes.
- Practice background desirable but not essential.
