We're supporting a well-known UK-based membership body as they embark on a key customer data and marketing transformation initiative.

They are seeking an experienced Interim Privacy Centre Consultant to lead the implementation and configuration of a Privacy Centre solution, ensuring seamless integration with ongoing developments within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing customer consent and preference management capabilities while supporting compliance, customer experience, and marketing effectiveness.

The Role

Working closely with marketing, technology, data, and project stakeholders, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing a Privacy Centre solution that integrates effectively with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and associated customer data processes.

You will act as the subject matter expert, guiding the organisation through best practice implementation while ensuring alignment with regulatory and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of a Privacy Centre platform.
  • Work closely with Salesforce Marketing Cloud teams to ensure successful integration and data flows.
  • Design and optimise customer preference and consent management journeys.
  • Support data governance and privacy compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and implementation plans.
  • Configure and test solutions, managing defects and enhancements where required.
  • Provide guidance on privacy, consent, and customer communications best practices.
  • Create supporting documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience implementing Privacy Centre, Consent Management, Preference Centre, or similar customer privacy solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and customer data management processes.
  • Experience working within marketing technology, CRM, customer engagement, or digital transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and customer consent management best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications.
  • Experience working within membership, education, professional services, charity, or not-for-profit environments.
  • Exposure to broader Salesforce ecosystem solutions.
