Stanton House is partnering with a rapidly growing software company—part of a larger international group delivering specialised digital solutions to the media industry—to recruit a Senior Finance Manager. This is a critical role, providing financial leadership and strategic partnership to the General Manager and Business Unit Managers. We’re looking for a commercially minded finance professional with a strong technical foundation and the ability to lead and influence across the business. You will be pivotal in driving financial performance, enhancing reporting quality, and ensuring operational alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities in the role include:

  • Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Partnering with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and Business Unit Managers, delivering insights and analysis to guide decision-making.
  • Leading the budgeting process and delivering accurate, data-driven forecasts.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior leadership, including performance insights and recommendations.
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure stability.
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and managing internal and external audits.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise financial systems and processes.
  • Conducting detailed financial analysis and providing actionable insights to enhance profitability and growth.

Candidate Profile required:

  • ACA qualified accountant, ideally Big 4 trained.
  • Strong post-qualification experience in Financial Reporting and FP&A.
  • Experience in the software industry (preferred, not essential).
  • Hands-on consolidation experience across multiple countries and currencies.
  • Proven experience leading remote or international finance teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and financial regulatory frameworks.
  • A track record of delivering financial strategies that support business growth.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP, BPC) and advanced Excel.
