One of our Utilities clients is looking for an ERP Change Lead to join on a permanent basis and drive the change management strategy across a major SAP ERP transformation programme.

Permanent Hybrid role: 2–3 days a week in Reading

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the change management workstream for a £70m ERP programme covering HR, Finance, Procurement and wider business functions.
  • Support the Programme Director in mobilising resources, developing integrated change plans, and applying SAP Activate methodology to guide delivery.
  • Act as the link between the SI partner, functional leads, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption.
  • Design and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, maintaining consistent messaging and effective feedback loops.
  • Establish and manage a network of change champions and agents to drive grassroots engagement across the organisation.
  • Develop and oversee training needs analysis, training strategy, and effectiveness monitoring.
  • Track business readiness, adoption metrics, and benefits realisation, reporting progress to programme leadership.
  • Identify and mitigate change‑related risks and issues, escalating where necessary.
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven experience leading change management for large‑scale ERP programmes (SAP preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Expertise in SAP Activate methodology and programme mobilisation.
  • Utilities experience a major bonus.
  • Skilled in change impact analysis, training, and communications.
  • Familiarity with organisational change models (e.g., ADKAR) and change management tools.
  • A self‑starter with strong leadership skills, able to collaborate effectively with third‑party delivery partners and cross‑functional teams.
