Stanton House has partnered with a leading mid-market private equity firm to appoint an experienced M&A Integration Specialist to work across its portfolio of investments. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the centre of a dynamic buy-and-build strategy, supporting portfolio companies through the full lifecycle of post-acquisition integration. You will play a critical role in ensuring acquisitions deliver their intended value, working closely with deal teams, portfolio leadership, and functional stakeholders to execute integration plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support post-merger integration activities across multiple portfolio companies
  • Develop and implement structured integration plans aligned to the investment thesis
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams (e.g. finance, operations, technology, HR) to ensure timely delivery of synergies
  • Identify and mitigate integration risks, resolving issues proactively
  • Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and KPI tracking to monitor integration progress
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and investment professionals, to drive alignment and accountability
  • Contribute to pre-deal planning, including integration strategy and synergy assessment where required

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience delivering complex post-merger integrations, ideally within a private equity or fast-paced corporate environment
  • Strong understanding of buy-and-build strategies and value creation levers
  • Background in private equity-backed businesses is highly desirable
