We’re partnering with a high‑growth, PE‑backed fintech to hire an experienced Interim FP&A Lead.

This role is ideal for a senior FP&A professional who has “been there before” and enjoys imposing order in complex situations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and 5‑year plans
  • Producing investor‑grade reporting and board‑level analysis
  • Building and maintaining robust FP&A models, including scenario analysis
  • Acting as the de‑facto deputy to the Head of FP&A
  • Working across a small FP&A team, influencing without formal authority
  • Driving process improvement and stabilisation
  • Heavy hands‑on use of Workday Adaptive Planning (dimensions, ad‑hoc reporting)
  • Rolling your sleeves up — this is a delivery role, not a passenger seat

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as an FP&A Lead / Head of FP&A / Senior FP&A Manager
  • Background in PE‑backed environments
  • Strong understanding of SaaS / fintech revenue models (ARR, subscriptions, unit economics)
  • Excellent grasp of investor and corporate finance language
  • Experience in regulated financial services preferred
  • Confident working in ambiguity and managing resistance constructively
  • Comfortable using AI‑enabled tools to enhance analysis

You’ll thrive if you’re:

  • Calm, resilient and unflappable under pressure
  • Pragmatic, delivery‑focused and commercially sharp
  • Senior in mindset, with strong upward‑management skills
  • Able to maintain standards without ego

Contract details:

  • 8‑month contract (potential extension)
  • £120,000 annualised
  • Hybrid working: office‑based Tuesday–Thursday
