Senior Financial Accountants being hired for global FTSE business! Hybrid – Hampshire (3 days onsite). If you’re happiest when things aren’t perfect — keep reading. These are roles for hands-on Financial Accountants who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership, and genuinely improve how things are done — not just follow the process because “that’s how it’s always been”. You’ll be joining a newly formed Finance Hub within a large, complex UK & Europe division, supporting financial results across a multi-contract, multi-business portfolio. This is a role for someone who enjoys structure, controls, and process — but is equally comfortable operating in organised chaos while things continue to evolve. You’ll report into a Finance Manager and play a key role in delivering an accurate, timely, and controlled end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) process.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the month-end close across allocated cost and revenue streams
  • Ensuring accurate recording of financial results across contracts and business units
  • Reviewing journals and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by offshore teams — and holding the BPO to account
  • Coordinating resolution of aged balance sheet items (WIP, debt, accruals, prepayments)
  • Interpreting and running standardised finance processes on a monthly cycle
  • Delegating work to onshore colleagues (indirect management responsibility)
  • Working closely with Finance Business Partners, Controllers, and Operational teams
  • Identifying inefficiencies and driving continuous improvement and automation

This is very much a “doing the doing” role — hands-on, delivery-focused, and critical to the credibility of finance across the business.

The environment you’ll work in:

  • A UK business spanning ~80 contracts across multiple sectors
  • High-value, service-based contracts with varied revenue and cost drivers
  • A hybrid onshore/offshore finance model requiring strong judgement and communication
  • A fast-moving hub still being shaped — where your input genuinely matters

Candidate Background we’re open to:

  • ACA straight from practice (Top10) or with some industry experience
  • ACCA / CIMA with strong Financial Accounting experience in large, complex organisations
  • Management Accounting backgrounds welcomed if you’ve moved into Financial Accounting

If you’re looking for ownership, exposure, and a role where your judgement actually matters — we’d love to hear from you.
