We are partnering with a fast-growing, high-growth technology-driven financial services company that provides multi-currency accounts and payments solutions to businesses and individuals. This is a pivotal hire to join a collaborative finance team, reporting directly to the CFO, and will play a key role in developing the FP&A function as the business scales. You will also gain exposure to the workings of a listed company, including board reporting and financial analyst interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals
- Provide commentary to the Board on monthly performance
- Develop long-term financial plans to support investor communications and strategic decision-making
- Build financial models and scenario analyses to inform planning and investment decisions
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards
- Act as a business partner to operational teams to support informed financial decisions
- Collaborate across departments to understand performance drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Assist with calculations related to commissions, incentives, and other key business expenses
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Candidate Profile
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in FP&A or a related commercial finance role
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Experience in high-growth SME environments is desirable
- Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
