My client, a HR and Payroll technology company who operate globally across multiple regions including UK, Ireland, Sweden, Netherlands, and the US are looking to hire a Finance Analyst for the FP&A team. Reporting to the FP&A Director, this role will support the UK, Ireland and Sweden organisation in delivering analytical information whilst making data more accessible. Your analytical skills will help them uncover insights that drive business improvements and strategic initiatives. This is a hybrid role with three days in the office in Staines.
Key Responsibilities
- Using Power BI to create, maintain and improve dashboards for revenue, expenses, headcount, and other finance and operational metrics.
- Provide analytical insights related to clients, including client industry trends, size, product utilisation, and payslip volumes.
- Extracting, cleansing, and combining information from multiple data sets.
- Driving upstream process improvements that result in more accurate reporting.
- Training individuals on how to effectively use workbooks, reports and dashboards.
- Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats.
- Continuously monitoring data quality.
- Engage with other departments to develop a deep understanding of their functions and available reporting.
- Support on the preparation of the monthly leadership dashboard reporting, covering financial and operational performance.
- Providing general analytical support to the Finance team & business.
Requirements
- Degree educated
- Power BI developer experience is a requirement
- Experience of financial systems such as Oracle (preferable) or SAP
- Advanced Excel experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
