A customer-facing, operationally complex organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join one of its core divisions. This is a high-impact partnering role, working closely with the Divisional Managing Director and senior leadership to provide insight, challenge, and financial direction.

The role blends strong commercial analysis with effective stakeholder engagement, supporting strategic and operational decision-making through high-quality forecasting, modelling, and performance insight. You will play a key role in driving financial discipline, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting sustainable business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to senior operational leadership, providing insight, challenge, and decision support.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and latest estimate processes, ensuring accuracy and clear strategic commentary.
  • Analyse performance data to identify key drivers, trends, and risks, translating insight into actionable recommendations.
  • Own and maintain financial models supporting operational units, including cost base definition and investment analysis.
  • Drive cost control initiatives and support efficiency improvements across the division.
  • Prepare high-quality materials for Executive and Board-level reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with FP&A, Management Accounts, and Data & Analytics teams to deliver clear, consistent management information.

To Be Suitable

  • Qualified finance professional (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with several years’ experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or management accounting roles.
  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to influence and challenge senior, non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel capability and experience working with ERP systems; exposure to data visualisation tools is advantageous.
  • Confident communicator, able to present complex financial information clearly and pragmatically.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operational environment.

This is a strong opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to step into a visible, influential role, partnering senior leadership and helping shape performance across a complex operating division.

Due to the high volume of applications, we may not be able to provide individual feedback to all unsuccessful candidates.
