A leading international insurance group is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its high-performing FP&A function based in Central London. This is a commercially focused role supporting senior stakeholders across multiple departments, delivering insight, driving performance and contributing to group-wide FP&A initiatives including financial modelling, reporting enhancements and strategic analysis.

You will play a key role in producing meaningful financial insight used by senior leadership, executive committees and investors, helping shape business decisions and improve financial performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders across assigned business areas
  • Analyse and explain cost bases, trends and variances to support commercial decision-making
  • Deliver month-end, quarter-end, forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Maintain accurate financial reporting that reflects true business performance
  • Build and maintain cost allocation models and driver-based analysis
  • Track and analyse headcount and workforce-related financial metrics
  • Provide high-quality insight into business drivers and KPI performance
  • Collaborate closely with central FP&A teams to support group reporting and executive presentations
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting
  • Prepare high-level reports and present findings to senior management forums
  • Support major change programmes, business cases and ad-hoc projects
  • Contribute to a performance-driven, continuous-improvement culture
About You
  • Qualified accountant with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong background in FP&A, business partnering, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and modelling
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
  • Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Experience within insurance or financial services is desirable
  • Exposure to IT/technology business partnering is advantageous
  • Experience using OneStream, Unit4 or similar financial systems is beneficial
