A PE-backed services business is seeking an experienced Interim CFO to support the business through a critical exit process. With EBITDA of c.£5m, the company is entering a key phase and requires a commercially astute finance leader to drive the transaction and work closely with investors and senior leadership. This is a high-impact role partnering directly with the CEO and private equity stakeholders to manage the end-to-end exit process, while ensuring the finance function operates effectively throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the business through a full private equity exit process from preparation to completion.
- Partner closely with the CEO to deliver transaction objectives and maximise value.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external advisors, including corporate finance, legal, and diligence providers.
- Oversee and support a small finance team, ensuring continuity of day-to-day operations.
- Prepare and present financial information for investors, buyers, and stakeholders.
- Drive timelines, coordination, and overall execution of the transaction process.
