About the Role
Stanton House is partnering with a fast‑growing, private equity‑backed multi‑site business that is seeking an experienced Tableau specialist to support a critical transformation programme. The organisation holds substantial volumes of well‑structured data but now needs to convert this into meaningful, consistent and decision‑ready dashboards. This interim role will be pivotal in consolidating complex data sets, building high‑quality Tableau dashboards and strengthening business intelligence capability during a critical period. Reporting directly into the CFO and working closely with FP&A, the senior leadership team and external stakeholders, the Interim BI / Tableau Analyst will bring strong technical development expertise alongside the ability to work across a diverse stakeholder landscape, from central functions to frontline operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and build high‑quality Tableau dashboards from scratch using defined KPIs and business requirements.
- Consolidate and structure large data sets, ensuring they are clean, refreshable and suitable for investor‑grade reporting.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights to inform decision‑making across finance, operations and leadership.
- Work closely with FP&A, the CFO, CTO and senior leadership to understand reporting needs and prioritise deliverables.
- Engage with stakeholders across a large multi‑site estate and central teams to gather requirements and ensure dashboard relevance and usability.
- Iterate rapidly and deliver outputs at pace across multiple workstreams linked to an ongoing exit process.
- Partner with external advisors to define and develop dashboards.
- Ensure data consistency, quality and professional presentation suitable for investor and advisor scrutiny.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong hands‑on Tableau development experience, capable of independently building dashboards, data models and KPI frameworks.
- Experience working within complex, multi‑site organisations (e.g. retail, hospitality, childcare, healthcare or similar sectors).
- Strong data storytelling capability, with the ability to bring insights to life through intuitive and impactful dashboards.
- Proven experience in operationally complex environments is essential.
- Exposure to private equity‑backed businesses or exit processes is desirable but not mandatory.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment with tight timelines.
