An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a dynamic, fast‑paced organisation. This role offers broad exposure across a multi‑entity environment and the opportunity to play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial reporting while supporting ongoing business growth.

The Role

  • You will take ownership of key areas of financial reporting and statutory compliance across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Working closely with Finance and wider business stakeholders, you’ll help drive improvements in processes, controls, and reporting quality, while supporting core month‑end and year‑end activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, fixed assets, and FX.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation.
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary across P&L and balance sheet.
  • Support monthly and quarterly close cycles to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and supporting audit schedules.
  • Manage external audit processes and liaise with auditors.
  • Ensure regulatory filings are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Take ownership of assigned legal entities and their reporting requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
  • Support finance systems improvements and testing.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong financial reporting experience within a multi‑entity environment.
  • Good knowledge of FRS102 and/or IFRS.
  • Experience supporting audits and statutory reporting processes.
  • Practice background desirable but not essential.
