Technology Innovation Director
Location: Hybrid (London-based, 2 days remote)

The Organisation
We are currently working exclusively with a luxury retail client based in Central London. Trailblazers in their field they are growing rapidly and have ambitious plans to diversify their offering and create the right technology ecosystem to do that. They are a global brand, continuing to scale across the UK, US, and Europe.
The Role
They are seeking a strategic and hands-on Technology Innovation Director to lead the evolution of their technology ecosystem for scale, security, and an enhanced customer experience. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the businesses internal infrastructure continues to grow with the brand and their expanding client base. This role will deliver end-to-end change across technology systems, processes, and experience β ensuring the business is ready to scale.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Stack Assessment
- Lead an initial assessment of their βas isβ technology state and devise a roadmap of improvements and suggestions to build an integrated technology stack to support efficient back office and customer facing operations.
CRM & ERP System Discovery
- Lead the assessment of a suitable CRM system tailored to a complex and fast-moving business able to integrate into a standardised suite of technology that can be utilised across the world. Lead the assessment of a suitable ERP solution, whether bespoke or out of the box with 3rd party providers.
- Design an integrated global inventory and order management model, covering DTC, wholesale, trunk shows, and regional stock (UK, US, Middle East). Ensuring any technology is easily integrated with existing systems such as Shopify, and Klaviyo
IT Infrastructure & Security
- Work closely with the business and external providers to ensure that the IT infrastructure and security measures in place are robust and fit for a business with an exclusive and high-end client base.
Strategic Innovation
- Be a key driver in making the strategic vision come to life, evaluate and implement new tools to support continued growth β including selecting tech, global fulfilment optimisation, and B2B operations.
Candidate Profile
Required Experience:
- Proven experience conducting a full review of a current state technology stack and designing a roadmap for a scalable, secure and integrated infrastructure.
- Proven experience in a Senior Leadership role – Director/Head of
- Proven experience in leading an ERP selection process or supporting the build of a bespoke ERP solution within the luxury retail, or fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify, Xero, inventory systems, and digital commerce workflows.
- Track record in a multi-location, multi-currency organisation, ideally this will be in a high-end direct to consumer environment.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
Preferred:
- Familiarity with fit-tech or wardrobe personalisation tools
- Exposure to wholesale, DTC and B2B operations
