We are a construction business based in Central London seeking an experienced Coins ERP Technical Expert to provide specialist system advice, optimisation, and hands-on guidance across the Coins platform. The successful contractor will also play a key role in training and upskilling internal users to improve adoption and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Coins ERP Advisory & Optimisation
- Act as a subject matter expert for Coins ERP across relevant modules (e.g. Job Costing, Accounts, Subcontractor Management, Commercials, Procurement, Plant, Payroll where applicable).
- Review current system usage and configuration, identifying:
- Areas of good practice
- Gaps in usage or capability
- Opportunities to streamline or automate processes
- Advise on best-practice use of Coins to support construction-specific workflows.
- Functional & Technical Support
- Provide expert guidance on Coins setup, configuration, and data structures.
- Support integrations, reporting, and data extraction where required.
- Liaise with Coins support or third-party partners when deeper technical input is needed.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Deliver hands-on training to finance, commercial, and operational users.
- Create or improve user guidance, documentation, and process notes.
- Act as a coach to internal “super users” to build long-term capability in the business.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and IT teams.
- Translate business requirements into practical Coins solutions.
- Provide clear, pragmatic advice tailored to a live construction environment.
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong, demonstrable experience working with Coins ERP within the UK construction sector.
- Deep functional knowledge of multiple Coins modules, not just finance.
- Proven ability to assess and improve how businesses use Coins in practice.
- Experience training end users and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based construction business.
