A commercially minded and analytically strong FP&A Analyst is sought to join a growing, Private Equity-backed organisation during an exciting phase of expansion. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will play a key role in supporting group-wide financial planning and analysis activities. This is a highly visible role, working closely with the Executive Management team to deliver insightful financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, and drive business performance across a multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial analysis, including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow reporting
- Provide clear variance analysis and actionable insights to support business performance
- Develop, track, and report on key financial KPIs
- Support the annual budgeting process and rolling 12-month forecasting cycles
- Produce sensitivity analysis to inform strategic planning
- Partner with Directors and business heads to support decision-making and performance improvement
- Assist in preparing financial presentations for the board and external stakeholders
- Support sales pipeline reporting and analysis
- Contribute to cashflow forecasting and liquidity planning
- Assist with ad hoc projects, including financial due diligence, refinancing, and potential M&A activity
To Be Suitable
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Previous experience within an FP&A or commercial finance role
- Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and ability to manipulate large data sets
- Experience with financial systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Power BI, or Workday
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
- Experience in a Private Equity-backed business is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities
- Confident communicator, able to work effectively with senior stakeholders
