Base pay range
Stanton House has been retained by a lower mid-market, Private Equity fund who are launching a new buy and build platform. Our client expects the business will make a significant number of acquisitions over the next five years making this an exciting time to join.
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a critical role in integrating and scaling these businesses while establishing robust financial and operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of multisite businesses, particularly within the Healthcare sector, and possess experience in high growth environments.
In order to be successful in the role, you should be motivated to join an early stage, fast-paced PE backed organisation who shall scale quickly to become a market leading business.
Required experience includes;
- Extensive experience in finance, combining both strategic leadership and hands-on operational expertise
- Strong understanding of Multisite businesses with the ability to work with large volumes of data
- Proven experience in M&A including the integration of acquisitions.
- Ability to build processes and systems from the ground up
- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Excellent knowledge of data and how to create clear, insightful reporting
- Excellent knowledge of systems and broad finance processes
- Audit experience from a big 4 accountancy firm preferred
- Ability to take ownership of complex projects
- An ambitious “self-starter” with the ability to work independently and drive projects at the early stage
- Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Founders and leadership teams
- Highly commercial with a strong business acumen
- Relentless drive and work ethic to achieve high levels of performance
Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to;
- Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a robust financial strategy, provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow
- Financial Processes and Systems: Put in place effective, best practice financial processes and systems to support the company’s rapid growth
- M&A and Integration Planning: Manage M&A processes, including financial due diligence and valuation of target companies, develop and implement integration plans for acquired companies and ensure financial control of newly acquired companies
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present monthly financial reports, analyse financial data and provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plans of the organisation. Ensuring timely and accurate production of quarterly fund reports and valuations
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations and develop and oversee risk management policies
- Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, manage, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team as the business scales
