We are partnering with a growing, multi-site services organisation that continues to invest in its Group Finance function. As part of this, the business is seeking a Management Accountant to support high-quality financial reporting and insight across the Group.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance manager, you will play a key role in producing monthly management accounts, analysing performance, and supporting forecasting and budgeting. You’ll work closely with Finance Business Partners and operational stakeholders, contributing to improved reporting, controls, and finance processes. This role is well suited to a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant who enjoys working close to the business and wants to develop within a collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and period-end journals
- Ownership of designated P&L areas, ensuring accurate recognition and cut-off
- Variance analysis and clear commentary on revenue and costs
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes
- Continuous improvement of reporting and month-end processes
- Support audit processes and ad hoc finance projects
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Experience producing management accounts and variance analysis
- Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, improvement-focused mindset
- SAP Business One and/or Adaptive Insights experience
- Exposure to group or multi-site environments
