Stantech Electrical is looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our site teams. This is a pivotal role within our commercial and industrial divisions, perfect for a senior electrician looking to step up or an established supervisor seeking a new challenge with a growing, reputable firm. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be the bridge between our project management team and the site delivery, ensuring that Stantech's reputation for excellence is maintained on every project.
The Role
- Site Leadership: Supervising a team of electricians and sub‑contractors, providing technical guidance on IEE 18th Edition standards.
- Project Oversight: Managing the installation of containment systems (cable basket, trunking, conduit) and complex machinery/control systems.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all works meet IEE Guidance Note 3 standards and overseeing site safety, including working at height protocols.
- Specialist Projects: Coordinating the installation of complex process systems.
- Quality Control: Reviewing project drawings and specifications to ensure site teams are delivering accurate results on time and within scope.
- Liaison: Acting as the primary site contact for clients and project managers, providing progress updates and resolving technical issues.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Substantial experience as a Qualified Electrician, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or 'Gold Card' lead role.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) is essential for this level. 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations. SSSTS or SMSTS (Site Supervisor/Manager Safety Training Scheme) is highly desirable.
- Technical Access: Valid Driving License, IPAF 3a/3b, and PASMA.
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
