We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planner at the Senior level through to Senior Associate to join our team permanently. Our offices across the UK allow for a mix of home and office working to support a good work‑life balance.

We are supporting projects across multiple sectors, including major energy and infrastructure schemes such as carbon capture and storage, renewable energy of all types and scales, hydrogen and transmission & distribution.
At the Senior / Senior Associate level, your tasks include:
- Supporting the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects
- Managing EIA screening and scoping processes
- Preparing Environmental Statements and other environmental and planning‑related reports
- Leading environmental teams and overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments
- Developing client relationships with senior leadership
- Supporting the development of junior team members
- Contributing to single and multi‑disciplinary proposal bids and financial management of project work
- Delivering a broad range of integrated environmental services
About You
You will have strong environmental planning experience (EIA), preferably with experience in the energy sector, and be either chartered or working towards chartership. You will:
- Understand environmental issues and disciplines, with knowledge of consenting regimes and development management procedures (Town & Country Planning, Planning Act, Hybrid Bill, etc.)
- Have experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams and managing project finances
- Possess excellent communication skills at all levels
- Show the ability to mentor and develop junior staff
- Demonstrate competency and flexibility to meet the demands of the role
