Overview
The UK&I energy sector is undergoing a seismic shift. Surging demand, stricter regulations, and ambitious net-zero goals are driving groundbreaking innovation. Here is your chance to be at the heart of it all. We are seeking Senior Project Managers with experience in the Energy sector to join us in offices across the UK. Projects may include energy from waste, solar, interconnectors, windfarms, substations, OHL, energy building design, protection systems, LVAC, pump stations, and more. You will join a growing, collaborative team delivering innovative and sustainable projects to address industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges, contributing to the UK energy transition.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to a high level of quality.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success; manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout; lead high-performing project teams and foster collaboration and clear communication.
Qualifications
- Ideally a degree in a relevant field; APMP qualifications would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Previous experience in project management within the energy/engineering consultancy sector; experience with project setup, financial monitoring, proposals, change orders, status reports, financial updates, and forecasting.
- Experience working with NEC contracts is a must.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-team environment; attention to detail; initiative in problem detection and resolution; and ability to multi-task between multiple projects.
