In order to continue delivering this valued service to our clients, we are seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join us in Leeds, working across water, wastewater, energy & infrastructure portfolios. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team, working on major capital investment programmes, whilst providing solutions to complex hydraulic challenges for our clients.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:

Lead technical input for projects for hydraulic structures and systems, including studies, analyses, designs, reports, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Contribute to steady-state, rapid, and long-term transient hydraulic studies.

Build industry relationships and foster a strong Stantec fluid mechanics community.

Utilise relevant software for client solutions.

Maintain technical expertise through CPD.
We are interested in speaking with candidates who hold a degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent) and have gained experience in the UK water industry.
You will have demonstrable knowledge/experience in hydraulic engineering/fluid mechanics, including knowledge of some hydraulic analysis software such Hades, Varism or Flow 3D.You will also have experience of reviewing technical content and mentoring junior staff.
