Stantec is recruiting a Senior BIM Technician for our Digital Design team in the Southwest Region, based in Bristol or Exeter, specialising in the water sector. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast‑growing, multi‑disciplinary infrastructure consultancy. As a senior member of our Digital Design team you will be self‑motivated and responsible for supporting Digital Delivery across the UK and Ireland. As regional lead for BIM/CAD Modelling and digital delivery, you will provide technical design support to Engineering teams and play a key role in delivering our major projects.
Responsibilities:- Regional leadership of the digital design team in the Southwest.
- Collaboration with equivalent regional leads across the UK.
- Provide BIM/CAD deliverables as part of the engineering team.
- Manage regional workload plans and establish delivery deadlines.
- Develop and mentor local Digital Design team members.
- Act as the point of contact with clients for development, maintenance and delivery of digital deliverables.
- Work within Common Data Environments.
- Prior experience as a Technician or Senior Technician in digital delivery.
- Experience working in the water engineering sector.
- Full familiarity with ISO 19650.
- Extensive experience with Data Management Systems such as BIM360 AAC or ProjectWise.
- Highly proficient at 2D and 3D delivery.
- Experienced user of major 2D/3D CAD/BIM tools from Autodesk and Bentley.
- Experience in project planning, estimating, and break‑down schedules.
- Ability to manage workload across multiple projects.
- Experience mentoring junior colleagues.
