We’re seeking Civil Engineers of all levels within the water sector! Our civil engineering team are seeking expressions of interest from Civil, Senior, Principal and Senior Principal Civil Engineers to deliver innovative and exciting projects in the water sector. We are looking for talented individuals across any of our water office locations across the UK.

Stantec has been at the forefront of delivering a challenging AMP8 programme, providing strategic support across project lifecycles—from asset management and strategy, through to feasibility, conceptual, outline and detailed design within build‑and‑build partnerships.

Our civil engineers are involved in defining and designing solutions to meet drinking water quality regulations while addressing water scarcity, climate change, and infrastructure maintenance. They work closely with specialists in pipeline technology, structural & geotechnical engineering, digital design and other disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Develop solutions from needs identification and feasibility through to outline and detailed design.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and lead or support other civil engineers.
  • Deliver design deliverables within required timeframes and budgets.
Qualifications
  • Degree‑qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
  • Chartered status or membership of a relevant engineering institution desirable.
  • Preferred experience in the water industry, including design and specification of water infrastructure, pipelines, treatment facilities, and service reservoirs.
