This role is based in the UK and offers a mix of home and office working. The successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects at the senior level.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Manage EIA screening and scoping processes, and prepare Environmental Statements, reviewing technical input and other environmental and planning-related reports.
  • Lead environmental teams, overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments and the preparation of environmental and planning-related reports.
  • Support the development of client relationships with senior members of the leadership team.
  • Support the development of junior team members and contribute to proposals bids and financial management of project work.
  • Deliver integrated environmental services across single and multi-disciplinary projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong environmental planning (EIA) experience, preferably with a focus or interest in the energy sector.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership; DCO experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Wide understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, knowledge of consenting regimes and planning procedures.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and financial management of projects.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
