Our Fire Risk Management team is growing, and this is a chance to join that momentum in a senior client-facing role with real influence. As a Fire Risk Consultant, you’ll help shape the next stage of our growth, working with clients on complex fire safety challenges across a varied portfolio of buildings and sectors. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary business where fire risk sits alongside wider building, engineering and design expertise, giving you the platform to deliver practical advice, build trusted relationships and help develop a high-performing team.

You’ll deliver fire risk consultancy services across a broad client base, taking ownership of technical quality, programme and client outcomes. This will include carrying out and reviewing fire risk assessments, and supporting clients as the regulatory landscape continues to evolve.

You’ll help our clients understand their duties, prioritise action and make better decisions about risk in occupied buildings and operational environments. Internally, you’ll raise technical standards and support the development of less experienced colleagues. Your work will contribute directly to safer buildings, stronger client confidence and sustainable growth for the business. The market expectation at this level is not just technical delivery, but leadership in quality, mentoring and client development.

You have strong experience delivering fire risk assessments and related fire safety advice across a range of building types and risk profiles. You can review technical outputs, give clear direction to others and maintain high standards in reporting and client communication. You are comfortable advising clients on practical, proportionate actions and explaining technical issues in a clear way. You have experience supporting or mentoring junior consultants and helping teams develop capability.

Benefits include competitive salary, bonus schemes, enhanced pension plan, annual leave with the option to buy/sell additional days, private medical insurance, group income protection & life assurance, discounted gym membership and more.

Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with our hybrid approach to flexible working.
