Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage EIA screening and scoping processes, prepare Environmental Statements and other environmental and planning‑related reports.
- Lead environmental teams, oversee Environmental Impact Assessments and the preparation of environmental and planning‑related reports.
- Develop client relationships, support the development of junior team members and contribute to single and multi‑disciplinary proposal bids.
- Support the delivery of a broad range of environmental planning work streams, delivering integrated environmental services.
Qualifications
- Strong environmental planning experience (EIA); preferred experience or interest in the energy sector.
- Either chartered or working toward chartership.
- Broad understanding of environmental issues, consent regimes, and development management procedures (Town and Country Planning, Hybrid Bill, etc.).
- Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams, track record of financial management of projects, and excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to manage and mentor team members; competency and flexibility to meet the demands of the role.
