Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Manage EIA screening and scoping processes, prepare Environmental Statements and other environmental and planning‑related reports.
  • Lead environmental teams, oversee Environmental Impact Assessments and the preparation of environmental and planning‑related reports.
  • Develop client relationships, support the development of junior team members and contribute to single and multi‑disciplinary proposal bids.
  • Support the delivery of a broad range of environmental planning work streams, delivering integrated environmental services.

Qualifications

  • Strong environmental planning experience (EIA); preferred experience or interest in the energy sector.
  • Either chartered or working toward chartership.
  • Broad understanding of environmental issues, consent regimes, and development management procedures (Town and Country Planning, Hybrid Bill, etc.).
  • Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams, track record of financial management of projects, and excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to manage and mentor team members; competency and flexibility to meet the demands of the role.
