We’re looking for a Senior Water Network Modeller to apply their expertise and drive innovation within our industry-leading team. This role can be based from a number of our UK offices, with a hybrid working model that gives you flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of complex water network modelling and optimisation projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
- Conduct advanced hydraulic modelling and data analysis to inform infrastructure planning and system-wide improvements.
- Model Calibration and Validation: advanced calibration of water network models, ensuring their accuracy for critical decision-making.
- System Design & Performance Optimisation: apply modelling skills to inform the design of new infrastructure and optimise the performance of existing networks (e.g., pressure management and leakage).
- Strategic Modelling Applications: inform infrastructure planning, investment decisions, and the development of smart network operations.
- Develop and refine methodologies for model calibration and the application of models to solve complex network challenges.
- Apply advanced data analytics for water balance, network performance analysis, and model validation.
What You’ll Need
You will be degree educated with substantial experience in water network modelling, ideally using software such as InfoWorks WS, InfoWater, SynerGi, or ArcGIS. A proven ability to lead and deliver complex impact assessments, growth studies, and optimisation projects is required. Chartership to a relevant body would also be preferred.
This role is for a Water Networks Modeller who is passionate about their technical craft and its direct application. While there will be opportunities to share knowledge with colleagues, the core focus is on your technical skills and their application to complex problems.
