With the AMP8 water investment cycle now in full swing and our role as a primary designer for major UK water frameworks and the Scottish Water Enterprise, we are looking for high‑level Principal and Senior Principal‑level Geo‑Environmental Consultants. We are seeking professionals who challenge “the way it’s always been done” in favour of nature‑based solutions, nutrient neutrality, and digital innovation.

Whether you are based in the South East, the North, or Wales, you will act as a technical authority and strategic advisor. Your influence will extend across our multidisciplinary network, ensuring that land quality and sustainability are at the heart of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.
- Technical Leadership: Providing high‑level specialist input on land quality, contaminated land management, and complex material characterisation across the full project lifecycle.
- Collaborative Innovation: Leading the integration of digital tools (Stantec.io) and AI‑driven data analytics into ground models to provide smarter, faster intelligence for our clients.
- Growth & Mentorship: At the Senior Principal level, you will drive business development and regional strategy; at the Principal level, you will play a vital role in mentoring the next generation of geo‑environmental talent within our award‑winning culture.
About You
You are a recognised professional with a profound passion for the environment and a track record of delivering excellence in a consultancy setting. You hold a degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline and are a Chartered member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., CGeol, CEnv with the Geological Society, Institution of Environmental Sciences or CIWEM). Additional professional certifications, such as SiLC, SQP, or CL:AIRE DoW CoP QP, are highly desirable and will be viewed favourably.
With extensive experience in the UK consultancy environment, you possess a masterly understanding of land quality assessment and contaminated land management. You are an exceptional communicator, capable of forging deep relationships with C‑suite clients, joint venture partners, and stakeholders. You thrive on the challenge of translating complex environmental data into clear, actionable strategies that provide lasting community benefits.
