The Opportunity

Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our High Wycombe office, where you will be part of our Water team and support the delivery of electrical engineering solutions across water and wastewater projects.

A briefing form has been completed for the regional South MEICA role. The successful candidate will sit within our High Wycombe office and be supported by a regional South team of around 20 MEICA engineers across Brighton, Southampton, London and High Wycombe.

You’ll have the chance to make a positive impact on the environment through sustainable engineering solutions, working on a design and build framework for Southern Water. This is a challenging technical environment where constructability and affordability are key considerations throughout design delivery.

About The Role

Alongside the MEICA team, you will support practical engineering delivery, site-based information gathering and technical documentation while developing your understanding of electrical design in the water sector. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking site visits for condition assessment and information gathering.
  • Supporting senior engineers with schedules and authoring technical documents.
  • Building up site power burden and calculating new site requirements.
  • Supporting specification of system architecture layouts, including fibre network design.
  • Participating in constructability workshops and contributing to practical design solutions.
  • Developing your technical capability through project work, collaboration, training and structured graduate development.

About you:
