Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate PMO Consultant in our vibrant London office, where you will be part of a market-leading Energy & Resources Advisory Services discipline.

As a graduate consultant, you will balance technical learning with practical project delivery to support major infrastructure programmes across the UK. You will sit within our local Programme & Commercial Management team of specialists in London, fully supported by a wider national Energy Advisory Services team. We operate as a fully integrated multidisciplinary business, bringing together programme management, commercial management, business transformation, digital advisory, engineering, and asset management expertise to deliver complex infrastructure programmes.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • PMO Governance & Reporting: Assisting with governance, risk management, action tracking, performance monitoring, and compiling reporting metrics.
  • Project Controls & Coordination: Supporting core programme and project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and project coordination.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analysing project data, identifying trends, and preparing clear reports, presentations, and client-facing documentation.
  • Meeting & Stakeholder Support: Attending client and project meetings, documenting key decisions, tracking actions, and communicating technical info to varied stakeholders.
  • Business Transformation: Supporting business transformation, process improvement, and organisational change initiatives for our clients.
  • Digital & Information Management: Assisting with information management, digital delivery, and data-driven decision-making activities.

We are committed to supporting employees in achieving relevant professional qualifications and accreditation. The applicable professional qualification for this role is Chartered Consultant status with the Association for Project Management (APM) or relevant professional bodies, backed by discipline-specific training pathways via the House of PMO and internal Programme Management routes.

In this role, you will help shape the UK’s energy transition and major infrastructure resilience. Supporting high-profile programmes across electricity transmission, distribution, and nuclear sectors—for key clients like National Grid and SSEN Transmission—you will go beyond simple data analysis. Working alongside multidisciplinary experts, your contribution to PMO governance, digital transformation, and asset management will directly enable clean growth, modernised networks, and lasting, sustainable legacies for the communities we serve.

At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. Along with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (all disciplines), Project Management, Business Management, Geography, or a related field with transferable skills, and a keen interest in the energy transition, you will also be:

  • An Adapter: You’re able to remain calm in new and changing situations, comfortably switching between a variety of dynamic and exciting tasks.
  • A Perseverer: You stay composed in the face of setbacks, approaching challenges with confidence and determination.
  • An Eager Learner: You have a keen interest in major infrastructure and data-driven decision-making, using new knowledge to anticipate how situations unfold.
  • A Collaborator: You work effectively with diverse engineering, digital, and asset management specialists, considering others’ perspectives to shape better outcomes.
  • A Problem-Solver: You possess strong analytical skills, love to give your thoughts based on what you see and are unafraid to challenge conventional thinking.

Please note, we ask our graduates to come into the London office 4 days per week, to ensure that you receive sufficient time with your team and receive the appropriate level of support. Applicants must have an unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period without limitation.

What we can offer you:

  • A competitive salary
  • Private medical insurance
  • A range of benefits, including holiday buy and sell, group income protection and life assurance
  • Permanent employment contract to demonstrate our commitment to your long‑term career at Stantec
  • Professional progression plan, supporting you to gain professional chartership
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment and Early Careers peer group and wider ERG network.
