Join our 2027 (Autumn) Graduate Programme as a Graduate Landscape Architect in our Bristol office, where you'll be part of a market‑leading Community Development discipline. Based in our Reading office, you’ll become part of a supportive local team of 13 Landscape Architects, connected to a national network of over 50 professionals. Working alongside experienced chartered landscape architects and colleagues progressing toward chartership, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across a diverse range of projects while developing the skills, knowledge and confidence to build a successful career in landscape architecture.
As a Registered Practice with the Landscape Institute, Stantec is committed to developing the next generation of landscape architects through mentoring, professional development and hands‑on project experience. You’ll be working on and contributing to a wide range of projects varying in scale and sector, including prestigious urban regeneration, new town settlements, masterplans through to civic squares, urban parks and adventure parks.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to projects from concept through to delivery, supporting the preparation of landscape, townscape and visual assessments, advising on masterplanning, and helping to develop innovative landscape designs. About The Role
As a Graduate Landscape Architect, you’ll support senior members of the Landscape team and collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues across Stantec on a wide variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with design development, research and best practice studies across a variety of projects.
- Create graphics, visualisations and presentation materials to communicate design ideas.
- Support the preparation of design reports and technical documentation.
- Undertake site visits, surveys and photography to inform project development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop creative and sustainable design solutions.
- Contribute to projects from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery.
We are committed to supporting employees in achieving relevant professional qualifications and accreditation. The applicable professional qualification for this role is the Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).

About You
