We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Landscape Architect based in our Bristol office. You would be joining our Landscape team, with a workload offering exposure and experience on landscape and public realm projects of the highest quality. We’re focused on innovation, sustainability and quality of place. You will be working on and contributing to a wide range of projects varying in scale and sector, including prestigious urban regeneration, new town settlements, masterplans through to civic squares, urban parks and thrill seeking adventure parks! We are a Registered Practice with the Landscape Institute.
Day to day, you’ll be working to assist the senior members of the Landscape team, and generally within multidisciplinary Stantec teams, on a variety of tasks. The role will include:
- Developing and preparing designs, drawings and illustrations for planning, tender and construction purposes;
- Support with the preparation of baseline site and context analysis, including photographic surveys of sites and their surrounding areas;
- Attending and assisting in preparation for internal and external meetings;
- Produce early stage concept design options to a specific brief as required;
- Drafting of reports, including LVIAs;
- Researching project briefs, precedents, case studies, materials and construction products;
- Landscape fieldwork and surveys.
Please note, we ask our graduates to come into the office 4 days per week, to ensure that you receive sufficient time with your team and the appropriate level of support.
