We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join our team based in Birmingham, joining our 2026 Graduate Programme, where you\’ll be delivering sustainable projects for our communities, planet and society.
Our application of cutting‑edge TUFLOW modelling technology in combination with a range of geographic information system (GIS) tools enables us to significantly refine site‑specific flood zones. It also helps ensure we can manage and mitigate impacts further afield.
The early engagement of our team in the development process is the key to success. Through the application of these modelling techniques, we work with developers to tackle flood risk issues and explore the implications and costs of proposed mitigation measures. This is critical to ensure development is appropriate to the site and to maximise the likelihood of approval.
Your role will be to help shape sites and provide valuable input into place‑making whilst contributing to the resilience of development sites to flooding and climate change, helping to create more attractive places to live and work.
