We are currently seeking an experienced EIA Coordinator at a senior level to join our team permanently. With offices across the UK, we offer a mix of home and office working to support a healthy work‑life balance.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage EIA screening and scoping processes, and prepare Environmental Statements, reviewing technical input and other environmental and planning‑related reports.
- Lead environmental teams, oversee Environmental Impact Assessments, and prepare environmental and planning‑related reports.
- Work with senior members of our leadership team to develop client relationships and support the development of junior team members.
- Contribute to single and multi‑disciplinary proposal bids and the financial management of project work.
- Support the delivery of a broad range of environmental planning work streams, delivering integrated environmental services.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong environmental planning (EIA) experience, preferably in the energy sector, and either chartered or working towards chartership.
- Broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, and working knowledge of consenting regimes and development management procedures (Town and Country Planning, Planning Act, Hybrid Bill, etc.).
- DCO experience is not essential but favorable.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, proven financial management of projects, and excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to manage and mentor others, with demonstrated competency and flexibility to meet role demands.
