This role can be based anywhere in the UK.

It is a great opportunity to join a growing multi-disciplinary team involved in projects as varied and different as Coire Glas in Scotland, Koysha in Ethiopia, and Dinorwig in Wales, as well as supporting our growing transmission and distribution business. We have developed a strong reputation within the sector as a leading, progressive and forward-thinking consultancy, focused on delivering high quality outputs to ensure the client achieves their outcomes and business benefits.

You will perform design, model and analyse electrical and electronic systems to ensure project feasibility and compliance with industry standards. As a Principal, you will take line management responsibility for some members of the team, support business growth and strategy development and take ownership of project deliverables.

We work closely with the growing transmission and distribution business and there will also be opportunities to engage in the design and delivery of significant grid upgrade projects including new transmission lines and substations. You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and collaborate with civil, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure a fully integrated project design. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about sustainable energy and eager to make a significant impact in the industry.
