We're looking for a Senior Urban Drainage Modeller to join our growing team in Scotland, based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Urban Drainage Modeller, you'll play a key role in delivering complex urban drainage projects while supporting the continued growth of our modelling capability. You will:

  • Deliver high-quality urban drainage modelling projects across a range of regulated water frameworks.
  • Develop, calibrate and analyse InfoWorks ICM models to inform strategic and operational solutions.
  • Coordinate project delivery, ensuring technical quality, programme and budget objectives are achieved.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the UK and internationally.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and best practice.
  • Contribute to client meetings, technical reports and project planning activities.

ABOUT YOU

Essential

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience delivering urban drainage modelling projects.
  • Excellent working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM.
  • Experience coordinating project delivery and managing technical outputs.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to mentor and support less experienced team members.
  • Membership of, or working towards membership of, a relevant professional institution such as CIWEM or ICE.

Desirable

  • Experience working on UK regulated water company frameworks.
  • Experience with digital tools, automation or data analytics.
  • Chartered or actively working towards Chartered status.
